Easter Sunday murder: Victim shot dead in front of son

NATIONAL NEWS - Randfontein Police confirmed the Culemborg Park house robbery that took place on Easter Sunday (5 April) at approximately 3am where a 48-year-old man was shot dead.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police, “A family in Culemborg Park was overpowered by armed suspects. It is alleged that four suspects gained entry to the house by breaking the burglar proof at a window. During this crime, the suspects allegedly shot a 48-year-old man, fatally wounding him,” said Ernst.

She continues to say that the 48-year-old man’s brother-in-law was also injured as he was stabbed during the robbery.
