Limited to just 19 units, the Race Edition II comes with a series of otherwise optional Mopar accessory trim pieces, namely 19-inch Quadrifoglio alloy wheels, red or yellow brake calipers, illuminated Alfa Romeo branded carbon fibre scuffplates, a carbon fibre grille, projector type LED under door light displaying the Alfa Romeo logo and an aluminium fuel cap.
Inside, Alfa Romeo has added a premium Harmon Kardon sound system, carbon fibre rear-view mirror caps, carbon fibre finished sport seats, a special commemorative numbering plaque, carbon fibre insert on the gear lever, coloured key cover and Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto.
Available in three colours, Vesuvio Grey, Silverstone Grey and Alfa Red, the former hue being the sole option for the yellow calipers, the Race Edition II is unchanged from the standard QV up front where the 2.9-litre bi-turbo V6 again produces 375kW/600Nm, meaning a top speed of 307km/h and 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds. As before, drive is send to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Like the regular Giulia QV, the Race Edition II comes with a three year/100 000km warranty and six year/100 000km maintenance plan included in its R1 550 000 sticker price.
