The new unit has been developed in-house and displaces 1 998cc and is matched to a newly developed six-speed automatic transmission with a Drive Mode Select system.
Maximum power 175kW/350Nm which is bang on target for an engine of this kind. In this particular model the engine is coupled with a Dynamic Torque Control all-wheel drive system, which maximises traction and can transfer up to 50 percent of available torque to the rear wheels.
