The result of Toyota's in-house Gazoo Racing division hence the GR moniker, the concept draws heavily from the TS050 Hybrid competing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), and comes powered by a 2.4-litre twin-turbo V6 engine combined with an undisclosed number of electric motors to produce a claimed 735 kW or 1 000 PS (986 horsepower).
No further details were revealed with Toyota merely stating that the GR Super Sport Concept "is set to deliver both ultimate and environmental performance".
