KNYSNA NEWS - The 2022 Simola Hillclimb officially kicked off yesterday, Thursday 5 May, with the scrutineering and displaying of the Classic Car Friday competitors on Hedge Street throughout the morning.
The Classic Car Friday parade started at 15:00, with cars moving to Waterfront Drive before making their way to the Simola Hill. The official action for the weekend started this morning with the commencement of Classic Car Friday’s first practice session at 08:00.
It is only the start of the weekend and there is lots more action lying in wait for competitors, with the Classic Car Friday action wrapping up today before the King of the Hill parade starts at 17:00.
