Boasting a profile similar to the BMW X4, the render incorporates the front of the Alaskan styled teaser, while the liftback-like rear-end gets the same taillights as the new Koleos, Captur badged silver strip, dual exhaust outlets and a blue scuff plate.
While it remains unknown as to whether the new model would indeed be called Captur Coupe, Renault has confirmed that the newcomer will make its world unveiling at the Moscow Motor Show next month, and reportedly ride on the same B0 platform as the Kaptur, a compact SUV sold in Russia and India styled to look like the Captur but is in fact based on the Dacia/Renault Duster.
Given its Kaptur foundations, the coupe could therefore make use of the same engines, namely a 1.6 or 2.0-litre normally aspirated petrol, as well as the venerable 1.5-litre dCi. In European guise though, it could possibly use the new Daimler co-developed 1.3-litre turbo-petrol that will power the next Clio.
