Posted by Polish website namasce.pl, the second generation 508 is a radical departure from the soon-to-be outgoing model, and features a much more aggressive appearance inspired by the Instinct concept shown at the Swiss showpiece last year, in the form of slender headlights, claw-like daytime running LEDs dropping from the lights onto the bumper flanges, a coupe-like roofline, grille taken from the 3008 and 5008, subtle boot spoiler and claw motive LED taillights split by a black strip.
As the model in question is the top spec GT, it also gets unique alloy wheels reported to be either 19 or 20-inches as well as chrome tipped dual exhaust outlets.
The interior is arguably even more dramatic with the latest iteration of Peugeot's i-Cockpit layout consisting of an integrated touchscreen display, full digital instrument cluster, a more minimalist centre console trimmed in dark wood with blue cupholder mood lighting and a gear lever similar to that of the 5008, blue lighting in the foot wells, aluminium inserts, stitched leather and integrated toggle switch-like buttons at the base of the infotainment system.
Engine options are expected to range from the 1.2-litre PureTech turbo-petrol to the 2.0-litre BlueHDI turbodiesel, with outputs 96 kW to 147 kW. A hybrid model with a reported output of 224 kW has also been mulled.
