GEORGE NEWS - The Working with Wood Show at Nelson Mandela University has kicked off.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of demonstrations and exhibitions.
The annual symposium of the Association of Woodturners South Africa also forms part of the programme.
Woodturner Al Stirt from Vermont is the key note turner and will give demonstrations on Saturday at 09:00 and 16:00, Sunday at 08:30, and Monday at 10:30.
The George Woodworkers Association is also attending and gives demos on making dog kennels and have an exhibit of their members' fine work.
A show for the expert and the uninitiated to enjoy.
