WESTERN CAPE NEWS - According to a media statement, Premier Winde will tomorrow host his weekly digital press conference on the health platform and vaccine update where he will be joined by the Provincial Head of Health, Dr Keith Cloete.
This will include a briefing on the latest developments regarding Covid-19 as well as vaccinations.
The briefing will take place over Microsoft Teams. Members of the public can join through the livestream on the premier’s Facebook page. It will begin sharply at 09:30.
Update on the coronavirus and vaccines
As of 13:00 on 14 April, the Western Cape has 2058 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 268 249 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 268 249 recoveries. A total of 53 507 out of the 53 820 vaccines received to date as part of the Sisonke trial, had been administered by 17:00 on 13 April.
