GEORGE NEWS - A veld fire in Pacaltsdorp is being attended to by George and Garden Route District Fire Brigades.
No homes or people are in immediate danger.
The thick smoke can however be a possible driving hazard and motorists are asked to please put their lights on and slow down.
George Municipality warns of high winds in the area and asks the public to not make fires or throw cigarette butts out their vehicles.
