GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - It seems as if the mayor is on his way from the airport, where he attended an Acsa function this morning, to the municipality to address the group.
The protesters, residents from (mainly) New Dawn Park, Syferfontein, Rosedale and Borcherds are staging the march in support of backyard dwellers in George who have been on the waiting list for houses for 20 years or longer.
Melvin Naik spoke to one of the George Herald journalists, Eugene Gunning, while at the Acsa function.
