GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The national women's group Tshatile Tshatile celebrated Women's Day with praying and rejoicing.
The women, who had gathered in the Garden Route for their annual national women's conference, visited the Ethembeni Disabled Day Care Centre in Thembalethu, where they donated blankets and a pram.
The children were eagerly awaiting them and were drawn into the enthusiasm of the women's singing and dancing as they came up the street to the centre.
The mission of Tshatile Tshatile is to uplift the living standards of disadvantaged women, minimise the high rate of divorce and stop abuse of women and children through prayer, advice and support.
