GEORGE NEWS - The septet (seven voices) of Jonga High School has achieved a third position in their category at the Western Cape ABC Motsepe South Africa Schools Choral Eisteddfod (SASCE), which took place in Cape Town last weekend.
In addition to the septet, the Thembalethu school participated in two categories, Western piece and solo tenor, getting a fourth place in both.
The school failed to defend its overall 2023 championship title.

Best female conductor: N Machona (Chris Hani High)

3. New Eisleben High (Thulisile Manciya)
Bass solo: SBP Mnomiya (Yimi lo!)
