GEORGE NEWS - The Family Transformation Centre (FTC) in George celebrates its first decade of service to the community. Japie Lubbe, director and founder of FTC, says they have a heart for the city and want to see lives changed and families transformed.
He says across the world, families are being subjected to severe trauma and crisis.
"World instability, time pressures, marital stress, divorce, grief, parenting challenges, abuse and abandonment are just some of the challenges we face. As a result, people find themselves coping with loss of identity, purpose, depression, fears, and insecurities."
FTC offers various pastoral care counselling and Christian lifestyle courses to the community of George and beyond. FTC has also developed unique courses based on the needs and challenges as seen in the community. These include their RESET marriage, Art of Womanhood and The Dream (for high school girls) courses.
"We have helped thousands of individuals through counselling and courses. We offer a safe place where people can come and receive healing and freedom. We have seen countless miracles and breakthroughs in people's lives," says Lubbe.
"We are very excited to be part of how God is transforming the city and the nation. We believe it is possible, and therefore call on everyone to trust and believe, to make a difference, wherever you are involved, to work together, to transform the city of George."
FTC is a registered non-profit organisation and relies on donations to enable them to continue their work. For more information, contact their office on 044 8730133 or find them on Instagram or Facebook.
