GEORGE NEWS - The E-natis system is down after the George Traffic Services experienced technical difficulties with the system.
No eye testing or other transactions can currently be done at the Pacaltsdorp offices.
The driving licence testing centre in Hibernia Street, next to the train station, is fully operational.
Times of licensing offices
At the driving licence testing centre in Pacaltsdorp, office hours are from 08:00 - 15:00.
At the motor vehicle registration office in Hibernia Street, office hours are from 8:00 to 15:30. (On Wednesdays the opening time is 08:30 for compulsory training of E-natis transactions).
Both offices operate through lunchtime.
