GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - York Street turned into a scene resembling a medieval movie yesterday, 4 July, in a preview of what can be expected at this weekend's medieval stunt show at the George riding club.
Film Equus horses and riders made their way up York Street in an exciting parade that started at the old Skatelab premises and ended in Cathedral Street.
The shows on Friday and Saturday promise to deliver intrigue, archery, sword fighting, horse and rider stunts, formation riding and more.
This will be supported by a full cast dressed in period costumes. The show starts at 17:00. Bring a blanket and chairs as this is an outdoor event.
