GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - The police are on the scene at South Cape College where stun grenades were used earlier this afternoon (Tuesday 18 February) to disperse a crowd of protesting students.
According to the college's Student Representative Council (SRC), one student was injured when she tried to jump a fence.
The students say the police "came to remove them by force", and it's because of this, that they tried to flee.
The students started with protest action yesterday, demanding answers about their bursary monies.
