GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality, in partnership with the University of Stellenbosch's disabled sports department, held an exhibition of sport for disabled persons at the Conville Civic Centre this morning.
The aim of this event was to make sports facilities available and accessible for people living with disabilities and to expose those who, due to a disability, have never had the opportunity to play sport to a variety of sport codes.
Some of the sports included was goal ball for blind people, wheelchair rugby, bocce ball and blind cricket.
