GEORGE NEWS - Two fun events will take place in aid of shelter dogs and cats at Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need this Saturday, 29 May.
The day starts with Rundle College hosting its annual Rundle Run at the Outeniqua Family Market at 09:00. All proceeds of the event will go to Oudtshoorn Dogs in Need (Odin).
Entrance will cost you R20 and registrations start at 08:30. Please bring cash.
Participants can choose between a 3km walk or a 5km run. If you are in the position to donate dog or cat food (adult or puppy) it would be greatly appreciated.
Meanwhile, from 11:00 until 14:00 on the same day at Odin's premises at Tantivvey Guest Farm, the Abbi Geldenhuys Academy of Ballet / Odin 5km Family Colour Run will take place.
This fun event starts at 11:00 and participants are asked to wear white shirts.
R50 gets you in and you are welcome to bring a lead and walk one of the shelter dogs. A variety of stalls with plenty to eat and drink, as well as live music, will be available on the day.
Stalls can be booked at R50 each.
