GEORGE NEWS - Cradock Street in front of the GO GEORGE transport hub (between Hibernia and Market Streets) is this afternoon (Friday 18 June) blocked by taxis as part of what is currently a peaceful protest. 

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and may as a result experience traffic congestion in the surrounding CBD area. 

SAPS, as well as municipal traffic and law enforcement, is on site. 

Go George buses to all areas are temporarily suspended.
