GEORGE NEWS - The power failure in the Kraaibosch area has affected the following areas: The old Radermachers building, BP Oasis garage, Engen garage, Gateway Lodge, and a portion of Kraaibosch. These have been off since last night.
Electricians have identified two high voltage faults and it also includes the water tower that feeds Victoria Bay.
The electricians will first have to fix one cable before they can switch power on again.
The assessment is that the power will be off until late tonight. We apologise for any inconvenience.
