GEORGE NEWS - The Western Cape police recruitment team is embarking on a recruitment drive in the Garden Route District today, Wednesday 30 August.
This initiative forms part of various recruitment drives across the province to recruit entry level police trainees as part of the 2024/2025 Basic Police Development Learning Programme intake under Project 10 000.
Information stalls will be set-up at the Paddagat shopping center between 12:00 and 16:00 today.
Information tables will be set-up at shopping centres in Mossel Bay and George.
The public and prospective applicants are invited to join the team to gather information on the recruitment process.
Criteria:
• Be a South African citizen
• Be between 18 and 35-years-old
• Be in possession of a matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• A valid driver’s license is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official language
• No previous criminal record and visible tattoos
• Submit a medical examination and be physically and mentally fit
• Be prepared to take the oath of office
