GEORGE NEWS - The Wilderness 2018 Open Gallery saw creative spirits gathering for a gregarious occasion at the Wilderness Resort Hotel from 15 to 17 February.
It proved to be an ideal choice of date, as the hotel was packed with foreigners who were bussed in to enjoy the balmy summer weather.
Some artists' works were snatched up by tourists.
The organisers of the event, Carole Durrant and her daughter Biance Ralph, also lined up a chocolate, art and wine pairing over the weekend.
One of the attendees said art appreciators and even interior decorators should take note of the fine artwork that is available right on their doorstep.
The delicate drawings and paintings by Gill Dodington attracted a lot of admiration.

The third Wilderness Open Gallery organised by Carole Durrant was a hit. Fifty artists had their work displayed at the Wilderness Hotel. The busy gallery owner was thanked for her efforts.
