GEORGE NEWS - Eden FM journalist Snazo Gulwa is concerned about the release on bail of a man who is accused of killing her brother.

The deceased, Yanga Gulwa, was allegedly stabbed by Sifundo Tom in Thembalethu on 26 August after an argument about cigarettes. 

Tom stabbed Gulwa in his chest and Gulwa later died in front of his family home.

The accused was arrested and appeared in the George Magistrates's court, where he was released on R500 bail.

Snazo says they know very little about the circumstances surrounding her brother's death. 

"We hear that my brother was stabbed after he had an argument with the accused.

We don't know much about what took place. It is very difficult for the family to lose someone.

We hope the investigation will give more information as to what really happened."

The case has been remanded to 27 November 2017.
