GEORGE NEWS - A 22-year-old motorcyclist died in a collision with a vehicle in Knysna Road near Lavalia on Wednesday 5 January.
Police spokesperson Sergt Chris Spies said Conville police members were dispatched to the scene at about 23:25 on Wednesday evening.
"Information available indicates that a Toyota Hilux bakkie and a motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries. He was declared dead by paramedics on scene," said Spies.
A case of culpable homicide was opened for further police investigation.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
