GEORGE NEWS - The Red Carpet Gala event planned for 4 April by local comedian and entertainer, Moses Williams, has been postponed. Williams says he was planning to go ahead with the event, keeping within the prescribed 100 maximum, but after the lockdown was announced on 23 March this is clearly not possible.
The show would have taken place in the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre.
He is postponing the show to a later date. “I want people to know that because certain things such as service providers and tickets were already paid, there will be no refunds at this stage. It was never about making a buck, but about giving my loyal fans an unforgettable evening.”
Williams says he will make personal contact with those to whom he delivered tickets. Other ticket buyers who are still interested can follow his online profile for updates.
Williams thanks everyone affected for their understanding during this challenging time.
