Missing man’s body found in Blanco

GEORGE NEWS - The body of the missing Blanco resident Johann Windvogel (26) was found near Cherry Creek Estate on Monday morning, 27 September.

Police have opened an inquest docket.

Windvogel was reported missing to the police earlier this month. “His body was found next to the fence by a resident on Monday morning,” said Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies.

The circumstances surrounding his death are being probed. 

An autopsy to be determine the cause of death is scheduled for later this week.
