GEORGE NEWS - A man who was arrested with 824kg of dagga in his possession appeared in the George Magistrate's Court today, Thursday 3 May where he was granted bail of R1 500.
Ntsikelo Ngindana (34) faces a charge of dealing in dagga. The case was remanded to 8 June for further investigation.
The estimated street value of the conviscated dagga is R1,4-million.
Ngindana was arrested on the N2 between Eden Place and the Garden Route Mall during a joint operation by the Hawks, Oudtshoorn Crime Intelligence and members of the Eden cluster police on Wednesday 25 April.
He made his first court appearance the following day.
