GEORGE NEWS - The Garden Route SPCA (GRSPCA) demonstrated their dedication to animal welfare by helping a bull in Pacaltsdorp yesterday, Monday 26 February. 

The animal became distressed after a tin can was lodged around the half of it's right hind hoof, posing a significant threat to its well-being.

The operation to free the bull from its plight was no small feat. 

GRSPCA inspectors faced a challenging task that required some innovative methods to safely remove the tin can using a pair of pliers and quick reflexes. 

This successful rescue serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of the GRSPCA to safeguarding the welfare of animals in need. 

Through their quick and decisive action, they have once again demonstrated their vital role in protecting and caring for animals within the community.
