GEORGE NEWS - Four local girls from Kim's Dance Studio who participated in the SA Championships of Performing Arts in Rustenburg recently, are going to represent the country in Los Angeles at the world championships in July.
The dancers participated in the open, jazz, tap and contemporary dance category and obtained three silver medals and one gold medal. The gold medal qualified the group to participate in the Performing Arts World Championships from 6 to 22 July in Los Angeles. Out of the seven girls who took part, only four of them can afford to go on the trip to Los Angeles to participate in the world championships.
