Job creation or earn while you learn?
Earlier today a reader sent a photograph to the George Herald of idle construction workers watching their two colleagues performing repairs to Pioneer Road.
GEORGE NEWS - Earlier today a reader sent a photograph to the George Herald of idle construction workers watching their two colleagues performing repairs to Pioneer Road between Stanmar Motors and Kloppers in Pacaltsdorp Industria.

The reader, who wish to remain anonymous, said that most of the workers were standing around doing nothing for the best part of the morning.

When George Herald reporter Myron Rabinowitz arrived on the scene, some of the workers were sitting down and watching the others with apparent boredom.

Let’s be positive: maybe the repairs to the road was used as a training session. Live and learn…
