A group of 23 students of environmental management went from door to door in the communities to inform the people of the dangers of dumping and handed out information pamphlets under the leadership of Cornelius Esau of the Department of Education.
EPWP workers and officials of the municipality's cleansing section, the Department of Education and the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment at the clean-up in Borcherds. A JCB was used to scrape up a lot of the rubbish.
