GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The 2017 dotsure.co.za Polar Bear Plunge took place at Victoria Bay today (Saturday 29 July).
Hundreds of people braved the cold water in effort to raise awareness of those in need. The entry for each 'plunger' was a blanket. Blankets will be distributed to the needy in George.
The popular South African band, GOODLUCK, performed at this year’s Polar Bear Plunge and George’s very own Miss Teen Junior SA, Monique Best, also made an appearance.
It was a great day out - for a good cause - for young and old!
