GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - According to the latest update from the South African Weather Service, a coastal low-pressure system with an associate surface trough along the western parts will bring dry and fine conditions on Tuesday, 11 February.
As it moves south, there will be partly cloudy conditions over the south-western parts and the adjacent interior.
A weak cold front approaches the country from the west, resulting in isolated rain and showers over the south-western parts late on Wednesday evening, continuing into Thursday where it will spread along the southern parts in the afternoon.
A surface trough will dominate over the interior, leading to fine conditions from Friday into Sunday morning.
A weak cold front slips south of the country, bringing cloudy to partly cloudy conditions from Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will be predominantly cool along the southern coastline, but warm to hot over the interior.
It will be very hot to extremely hot over the western parts on Tuesday, including the interior and eastern parts on Wednesday, where extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected.
The dominant wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh (30-45 km/h) southerly, becoming strong to near gale (50-65 km/h) south-easterly on Tuesday along the south-western coastline.

Winds will be light and variable along the southern coast on Sunday.
