GEORGE NEWS - A public hearing on the National Health Insurance Bill will take place on Friday 7 February, at the George Civic Centre from 16:30 to 20:30.
Residents can use this opportunity to learn what exactly the bill means for health service delivery and their ability to choose their health service provider.
According to MPP Wendy Philander the finer details of the bill will be discussed and explained, and citizens will have the opportunity to make submissions accordingly.
"The proposed changes via the bill to the healthcare system will affect every citizen in our province, whether one is dependent on the public or private healthcare system," she said.
