GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - Learners from various primary schools in George are taking part in a fun event at the Garden Route Mall today (Friday 16 February) as a prelude to this weekend's Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge (OCC).
The learners are playing bowls and taking part in other fun activities in wheelchairs.
The aim of today's event is to make learners aware of the plight of people with disabilities.
This year's Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge is taking place on Sunday.
It is the biggest event in Africa for people with disabilities.
