GEORGE NEWS - The local dog training school Smart Paws Academy is planning a fun dog show in George for the end of April - exact dates to be confirmed.
The show will be a fundraiser for the Garden Route SPCA and the academy will not be profiting from the event. The show will be held in the main arena at the George Riding Club.
Sponsorship in terms of pet products, veterinary items or donations are needed. All sponsors will have the opportunity to market their brand on the day. Jock Dog Food has kindly offered to sponsor dog food for prizes.
12 classes plus a champion class
- Best trick in under one minute
- Most appealing eyes
- Best puppy (under six months)
- Most handsome male
- Most beautiful female
- Best cared for/physical condition
- Best rescue
- Best golden oldie (over 10)
- Most interesting looking cross breed
- Cutest small dog under 40cm
- Coolest large dog over 40cm
- The dog the judges would most like to take home
- Champion of the day (open to all dogs placed first in each class)
