GEORGE NEWS - On Friday 4 June, all the learners and staff of Holy Cross Primary came together, at a socially distanced and masked gathering, to bid a fond farewell to Wilna Hopley.
Hopley has been the school's scholar patrol warden for the past 22 years and she is hanging up her gloves to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
For the school it was a wonderful opportunity to show its love and appreciation for the countless mornings and afternoons that she has stood in the middle of the street, come rain or shine,
