GEORGE NEWS - Two women were attacked and robbed of all their belongings while hiking in the forest with their dogs near Plantation Road at approximately 16:30 this afternoon.
Two men, armed with sticks, approached the victims on their hike and demanded all their belongings (jewellery, cellphones, etc.) while beating them with sticks and spraying them, and their dogs, with pepper spray.
The victims tried to retaliate by using their own pepper spray and the attackers fled on foot towards Blanco.
Both victims sustained injuries.
