GEORGE NEWS - All genres of music from jazz, Hip-hop, pop to classical music will be welcomed so that the whole spectrum of music learners can enter the 2018 Young Musicians Competition.
This year the auditions for the competition will take place on Monday 7 May at the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre and the finalist’s Gala concert will take place on Friday 1 June where the best of the best will receive trophies and cash prizes.
This annual competition gives music students the opportunity to perform in front of an appreciative audience, build confidence and perfect their performing abilities which is an experience that will help them to achieve their full capacity as musicians.
