GEORGE NEWS - Repair work is being undertaken on the pipeline that supplies water from the 9Ml reservoir today.
The higher lying areas of Denneoord will have no water, while the lower lying areas will experience weak water pressure.
The water was switched off at 08:00 and repairs are estimated to take 5 hours, subject to no complications arising.
There will be 3 water trucks available.
The water trucks will be stationed at the Bergville Intercare parking area; corner of 6th Avenue/Dennegeur Avenue and the public playground in St Paul Street.
Please provide your own containers.
A water cart will be stationed at the Denneoord Primary School for the duration of the water outage.
