GEORGE NEWS - The Youth Development section at George Municipality together with its partnership, will be hosting a skills transfer workshop for unemployed youth aged between 18 and 35 years. 

Crafting skills, which include beading, sewing, knitting, decoupage and other skills, will be transferred by established crafters. Basic entrepreneurship training and stimulation in this field will also take place.

If you are interested, please submit a short motivation letter (not more than 100 words), specifying why you should form part of this programme. Include your full name, contact number and address in your letter.

Applications can be submitted by hand to the Community Development Department, C/O of St John's and Varing streets, for the attention of the Youth Development section.

Closing Date is 30 September at 12:00. The sessions will be hosted in Pacaltsdorp, Lawaaikamp and Thembalethu.
