GEORGE NEWS - Local police arrested a 58-year-old man from George on Thursday 10 December after a joint operation at an internet café in the CBD.
During the operation, the Western Cape Gambling Board, George crime intelligence, George Detectives branch, the Knysna police's DPO office and members of the public order police (Pops) spent some hours confiscating several computers.
The computers were used as part of an online gambling operation, using the internet café as a front.
The suspect was released on a warning to appear in court again in January 2021.
