GEORGE NEWS - Two employees from Comair, Thomas Duane Hodgson and Janine Cheesman, launched a bottle top and bread tag collection initiative for the Sweethearts Foundation.
In exchange for the bottle tops and bread tags, wheelchairs are donated by the foundation.
"This is an easy way for families and businesses to collect what would have been thrown away and through recycling, change someone's life forever," says an excited Hodgson.
Through the support of corporate companies, schools and volunteers, the Sweethearts Foundation provides wheelchairs to those in need through the Tops and Tags initiative where plastic bottle tops and bread tags are recycled in exchange for wheelchairs.
Generous donations maximise their impact and allow children to receive customised wheelchairs.
