GEORGE NEWS - The police are searching for a suspect(s) after a passer-by found the body of a man, Gershwin Mintoor (30), in the yard of an abandoned RDP house in New Dawn Park.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Capt Malcolm Pojie, Mintoor’s body was found at approximately 06:00 on Saturday morning, 6 February.
“Mintoor’s body was found with multiple stab wounds. An autopsy later confirmed that he had died due to the extent of his injuries. No arrests have been made. We therefore appeal to the public to come forward with any information that could assist the investigating officer to bring the suspect(s) to book,” Pojie said.
