GEORGE NEWS - Four suspects are still at large after a business robbery in the George industrial area on Wednesday 12 October.

According to Southern Cape police spokesperson Sgt Chris Spies, four men, one carrying a firearm, entered a shop in Pearl Street at approximately 16:00.

They threatened an employee and demanded money. “The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in a bag,” said Spies.

George detectives are probing the robbery. The investigation officer, WO Francois Klein, urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
