GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp police are looking for four men after an armed robbery at a supermarket in Pacaltsdorp on Saturday evening, 7 March.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Capt Malcolm Pojie, it is alleged that four armed men with balaclavas entered the supermarket in Genesis Street in Eden Park at approximately 20:40.
“They threatened the 57-year-old owner and his assistant with firearms and forced them to lie face down on the shop floor. Within minutes they took the cash register with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot,” he said.
Shots were fired but no injuries have been reported.
