GEORGE NEWS - Church choirs from as far as Saldanha Bay gathered here tonight at the George Civic for a night of choral festivities.
Father Isaac Josephs from St Marks Cathedral here in George says they worked long and hard to get both Saldanha Bay and George Diocese choirs till here. Chairman of George Diocese Choirs, Johnny Kleinhans, says they rehearsed all day to get everyone to sing together.
“Everyone has been practicing on their own, but tonight we all sing together.”
Joan Saayman, the secretary to the George Diocese, says they have high hopes for the evening.
Father Josephs says this festival is the first of its kind and they want to make it an annual event.
