GEORGE NEWS - Nicole Moss, Grade 11 learner at York High School, won second place in the Senior section of the Young Musicians 2017 competition with her graceful rendition of Debussy's prelude for piano, Feuilles Mortes, as well as the Anna du Toit Bravura Trophy for Versatility.
At the George Eisteddfod she achieved three A++ and an A+, and a Gold, an Honours and two Highest Honours certificates at the Mossel Bay Eisteddfod, where she was invited to perform at the gala evening.
At school she has achieved full colours in culture, academics and service.
She has been taking private piano lessons with Margriet Venter since the age of 10.
