GEORGE NEWS - At least one person sustained serious injuries when a bakkie and a taxi collided at the traffic light in Nelson Mandela Boulevard near the Conville police station earlier this morning, Tuesday 16 May.
According to information received from the scene one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries, two sustained moderate injuries, five mild injuries and three escaped with minor injuries.
The cause of the accident still has to be determined. Emergency services are on scene.
Both lanes towards Thembalethu are temporarily closed.
